A few years ago, the Lord spoke to me as I read through Genesis:
“Indeed seven years of great plenty will come throughout all the land of Egypt; but after them seven years of famine will arise, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine will deplete the land. So the plenty will not be known in the land because of the famine following, for it will be very severe.”
Genesis 41:29-31 NKJV
“I will bring this to pass again”. These were the words the Lord spoke to me as I read the verses above. I prayed and asked God what we were to do, and He said He had already given us instructions.
“Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, to collect one-fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt in the seven plentiful years.”
Genesis 41:34 NKJV
In September of 2017, Pastor Crystal Krachunis and Amanda Mott spoke of the specific prophecy that they had received from God, confirming what the Lord had spoken.
In January of 2018, the Lord spoke to me again, and told me that the 7 years of abundance would begin this year.
Again, in November of 2018, I was contacted by Pastor Kevin Mugi, who told me that the Lord had spoken clearly to him the very same thing, and that God led him to reach out to me for confirmation.
We have been instructed to begin storing and saving 1/5th of our increase for the years of famine so that we do not go without. Those with ears to hear, let them hear.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. -2 Timothy 1:7
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! -Matthew 7:11
We have gotten a lot of positive responses from this post. We have also gotten questions about how this prophecy is to be applied. What will this famine look like? What is the exact time frame? Most importantly, what do we need to do to prepare?
I have spoken with Richard, and I want to reassure you that he has written down everything God told him to write down. With prophecy you are only given part of the entire picture. Prophecy comes in part because God doesn’t want you to put your trust in the prophecy but in Him.
I would encourage you to take this prophecy back to the Lord and prayerfully consider how God would have you apply it. God will be faithful to take care of His children. I don’t know what God will ask of each one to prepare, but I do know He will be faithful to show you what to do. Do not fear or panic, but take this to the Lord and trust Him in His preparation and timing. God will be faithful to His people. Trust Him to prepare You and He will. God is good….all the time. Trust in Him!
